Learn more about the Xpeer Score
The Xpeer Score is a scientific measure aggregating past expereinces shared by peers. It is a numeric measurement ranging from 1 to 10 on a Likert scale where 1 represents very poor quality and 10 stands for maximum quality and client satisfaction. The segments in the range are differentiated with traffic light colors from Red to Yellow to Green that makes it easier to interpret the score.
Every Review shared by peers gets a score attached. The individual Scores are aggregated and attached to Companies, Teams, Experts and Service Offers. A Company Score is therefore a sum of the overall scores from all Reviews.
The Score covers multiple dimensions around the service and reviews: team, company, result, budget and service, as well as related data as actuality, popularity, market receptiveness, trustworthiness, verification status, etc.
Removing bias starts while collecting reviews. Xpeer as an independent business follows standardised processes to ensure a constantly high quality of reviews:
- Following the principle "any business can review any business" we follow up on suspicious reviews.
- Xpeer as a partner helping businesses to collect reviews acts as 3rd party and independently. We have therefore an unbiased view on the performance and results and are able to reflect the opinion shared with us.
- Any business can report fake reviews, starting a review process.
- Reviews form employees or people associated with the company will be removed, leading to a lower score of the business.
- Reviews conducted by our industry experts include proof-checking businesses, ensuring highest standards.
Our AI which is calculting the Score is weighting recent experiences heigher than old ones. If a company does not get new reviews over a long period of time, the reviews loose their weight and the score wil therefore decline. The company also may loose their spot on the experience map and will no longer be shown in the leader board.
Xpeer Scores get recalculated on a frequent basis but are not immediately updated when a new review is given. Once the review is approved and online it is considered in the next score update.
No. The Xpeer Score is an unbiased reflection over the market performance. We consult companies how to learn from negaitve reviews and show them how they can improve the quality of services based on data from past reviews. This is enabling you access to better services form transparent businsses who are willing to even learn from their mistakes.
As soon as a company is listed on Xpeer (any company can be listed by being reviewed, even if they do not open a profile on their own) and gets a first review the score is calculated and shown.
